First came the original XR1200. And with it agility and focus not traditionally found on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The distinctive paint job and retro graphics echo its dirt bike heritage, while the flat track style speedo, exhaust, tail section and wheels are suitably refined for modern roads. And then there is the latest incarnation: 2010's all-new XR1200X. As much an upgradeas it is an evolution of the XR concept, the updated styling has a predatory edge. The blacked out engine casing, upside-down forks, and a matt black tail, tank and fender create a more aggressive presence. But what both machines have in common is a very capable chassis with superb rider ergonomics for that all important grin factor every time you grab the handlebars and ride.
